Glasshouse Mountains

The Glasshouse mountains viewed from the hills near Maleny. These mountains are in fact hills, 13 hills which are the remanence of volcanic plugs. Named so by James Cook in 1770 as they reminded him of the glass furnace stacks in his home county of Yorkshire. The image is 8688 x 4887 pix which enables it to be printed on canvas up to 90cm and glass up to 75cm for the long edge.
